Your Discover feed is your gateway to meeting new people. This is where you'll find profiles that match what you're looking for, helping you focus on building genuine connections.

Profiles in Discover are curated based on shared interests and compatibility. The people you see here have preferences that align with yours, and vice versa, creating better opportunities for meaningful matches.

To open Discover, tap the Compass icon in the bottom navigation bar.

Showing Interest in Discover

When a profile interests you, you can like specific elements like photos or prompt answers. Tap the heart icon on any photo or prompt, then tap Send Like to confirm.

Tip: Including a comment with your like significantly increases your chances of getting a response!

When someone accepts your like, they'll show up as a new match in your Chats section, and you can begin messaging.

For profiles that really stand out to you, consider using Flowers to increase your visibility and get noticed faster.

Passing on a Profile

Not interested in someone? No problem—just tap the X icon to pass on their profile.

Made a mistake? Tap the undo arrow to bring them back. You can undo any profiles you've passed on until you close and reopen the app.

Important: After restarting the app, passed profiles cannot be recovered. We cannot manually restore profiles you've passed on in Discover, Standouts, or Likes You.

Removing or Reporting a Profile

Your safety is important. If you come across someone you'd rather not see again, tap the three dots in the top-right corner of their profile and select Remove or Report.

Premium Filtering Options

Premium subscribers get access to additional filtering options to refine their Discover feed. You can filter by:

Age range
Height
Dating Intentions
Active Today
New Here

All members can filter by age preferences, but Premium unlocks these additional options.

To use a filter, tap the filter option at the top of your Discover feed. When you add a filter, you'll immediately see a profile matching your criteria.

You can combine multiple filters—for instance, filtering for a specific height and someone active today. Tap a filter again to remove it. Each time you add or remove a filter, a new matching profile appears.

Note: OtterHalf doesn't have a search feature to find specific people by name.
