What is 'We Met'?

'We Met' helps us understand your dating journey as you move things off the app. A few days after exchanging phone numbers, we'll ask you if you went on a date and if your date is the type of person you'd like to see again. If you indicate that you don't want a second date, we'll consider that info when recommending new people to you.

We created 'We Met' to learn about our members' dates in order to provide better recommendations in the future. Simply put, 'We Met' lets you give us feedback on your OtterHalf dates so you can get out on better dates faster!

If you haven't gone on a date, you can let us know if that changes at any time by accessing 'We Met' in your Matches. Just swipe the Match's name to the left to reveal the options.

If your date is disrespectful in any way, you can report that person through 'We Met' as well. From within the conversation, tap the three dots at the top right for these options:

Any feedback you share through 'We Met' is completely private. We will never share date feedback with existing or future matches. What we learn from 'We Met' will only be used to improve the algorithm and ensure that the OtterHalf community remains safe and respectful.
