I need to report something that happened on OtterHalf

Your safety is our priority. If you've had a concerning experience on OtterHalf, we encourage you to report it so we can take action.

To Report a User from their Profile:

  1. Tap the three dots at the top right corner of their profile (or chat).
  2. Tap Report and Select a Reason for your report.
    • Note: The image below shows "Remove" as an example.
  3. Once submitted the user's profile will be removed

Reporting is confidential and permanent. You will not see their profile again, nor will they see yours.

When you report a profile from Matches, you will be removed from that member's view. They cannot view or retrieve the conversation or match.

Reporting Outside the App:

If you're unable to report within the app, you can write to us with the following details:

  • The reason for the report
  • The person's exact name, age, bio, and photos (screenshots are best)
  • Any additional details that could help, such as:
    • phone number
    • email address
    • a link to their Facebook account.

When submitting a request via the form, select Safety and Reporting as your issue

We take reports very seriously. Please provide as much detail as possible. The more details you provide, the faster we can investigate and take appropriate action.
