Supporting Gender Diversity in the OtterHalf Community
Trans and gender non-conforming people belong on OtterHalf. We do not and will not ban anyone for their gender or how they express it. Being trans is not a violation of our Terms; being cis isn’t either (cisgender means someone who is not trans).
Transphobia is not allowed. Reporting someone just for being trans violates our Terms of Service. We have banned members for that and will keep enforcing this.
We work to make OtterHalf a place where trans members feel safe and welcome.
Online bullying and harassment of trans people is a real problem. Research like Brandwatch and Ditch the Label’s analysis of online transphobia has helped document it. We don’t allow that behavior here.
We enforce our Community Guidelines and don’t allow abuse, threats, discrimination, or hate. That includes false or discriminatory reports —using the report feature to target someone for their gender is a violation and can lead to a ban.
If you’ve been targeted or discriminated against because of your gender, email support@otterhalf.app. We’ll listen and do what we can to make it right and keep OtterHalf safe for everyone.
